AUTOMATON

‘...searching for the positivity - a shaft of sunlight hiding in the shadows...’

Currently in development, Automaton will communicate just how complicated living in our so-called ‘neurotypical’ world can be. This play is a single hander based on true life experiences and specifically written for autistic actors. The central character will be non-gender specific and an ensemble of actors will be engaged, enabling multiple actors to be cast and play the same role throughout the performance run. The show will challenge stereotypes in a dramatic and ground-breaking way, shining light on the need for a more nuanced representation of disability on our stages.
